Increase tank info options in about me section?

I noticed when I joined there were only three slots on the about me section of the profile. It didn't bother me when I joined because I only had four tanks at the time. One was just a fry tank. Now I have 8 tanks tanks going, and I have to pick my favorites to put in my info. Darn MTS! It would be so much easier to have a bigger menu to add more tanks so other members knew exactly what I was keeping. Is there anyway to add so those of us woth MTS could list all our fish? I know other members post their other tanks in their signatures, but the feilds in the about me section are easy and organized. It will not bother me if nothing can be done. I just thought I would ask.;D

I'm sure MIKE (site administrator) will see your question/concerns before long. To my knowledge, limiting everyone to 3 tanks helps to save some space on the forum. If everyone listed every tank that they have (especially those of us with MTS ) it could go on and on and on.

I think it should only show 3 tanks when viewing aquarium info from a thread, but if you then click on their profile, there should be a section that allows you to enter details on all the tanks you have. (That would only be viewable when on a persons profile). What about that?

It only shows 3 in order to limit the load on the database. With all the members/threads/posts we have here the amount of queries can become quite significant and stress the server, especially during peak times.

The best option is to create a thread here and then link your thread in your signature. That way you can list ALL your info about your tanks in your own thread and anyone wanting to know your set up info just has to click the link in your sig.

When did you talk with my wife? Or was it my daughter?

I deleted my Aquarium Info since it was impossible for me to list my tanks. I asked for a blog to do just that and got it but I just haven't had the time to keep the information up to date (and now the thread is closed).

I only have 7 tanks, but also started a blog. I just haven't had a chance to take pictures of all my tanks and set up the threads.
