I was wondering if we could have a sticky or something like that in the stocking area of the forum about the "Inch per gallon" rule. I've seen several threads from new members stocking their tank based on that outdated rule. I would have chimed in on why to not use that rule, but those threads were getting a bit too sticky and argumentative for my taste.
I really like the sticky that we have on stocking 10 gallon tanks; it's very easy to just post something saying "Here is this really helpful thread on what you can stock." and then you can leave without any other issues. If we had something to send people to that could explain why the "Inch per gallon" rule is incorrect and why we don't use based off of activity level, fish size....etc. that would be really helpful!
If we already have a sticky for that, could someone let me know where that little gem is hiding? Thanks!
