Important! Help with Gecko!

So I was picking up my Gecko (African Fat Tail) today, and I noticed that one of its eyes were cloudy. Now here's the thing: I just got this little gecko and I was wondering if, because it was just introduced to a new tank, this could be a stress related problem and he will just fight off the infection, or is it something more serious, and what should I do? Also if it makes any difference, the Gecko himself is acting perfectly normal.

It is normal for reptiles to have cloudy eyes while shedding.

I used to have a leopard gecko, I know, not the same but pretty similar especially in the shedding department. When I would notice he was about to shed I wouls spray a squirt of " shed ease" on him and in his cave. Prior to doing this he would sometimes have leftover skin on a toe or one of his eyes, after beginning this regimen he never had a shedding issue again. Of course this would only help if your lizards issue is indeed shedding related.

Make sure he has a proper setup.
10gal tank
Under tank heat matt
calcium,vitamin and D3 suppliments
Warm hide
cool hide
MOIST HIDE.
Thermometer

Moist hides are for shedding and hydration. Its any container or cave with a humidity source. Such as a tupaware container filled with damp peat moss or coco fiber and a hole cut in the lid.

Personally, I'm not a HUGE fan of commercial shed removers, I preffer to take a few steps
soaking, q-tiping, saline, oil and then vet.

I used soaking quite a bit with my monitors (they also enjoyed the swim!) my leopard gecko was the only one I used shed ease on and more as a kind of pre-emptive step to avoid any issues. The tedious soaking and q-tipping off left over skin is what actually led me to that.

. Its a process. Some leos are prone to shed issues though. Just thought id mention the Q-tipping method BEFORE you go get the shed ease(may not need it). Also, you can wait a day or 2 and see if the leo sheds again, which they will do sometimes if they have stuck shed. If its on the toes or nose though, keep it moist. When it drys it constricts.
