I’m Worried. Underweight Black Skirt Tetra?

I just had my tank recover from a parasite infection, all fish are completely clean as there are no more eggs or worms in their bodies or the tank, and one of my tetras seems to be recovering slower than the rest. He’s still very thin, and doesn’t eat as much as the others do. (Note that the fish next to him in pic one is my smallest juvenile Serpae)

That’s him next to his (I believe) gravid sister. She’s quite large, I’m hoping for babies! If I do I’ll be keeping one and giving the rest to my lfs if they want them

 

I think that is a (smaller) male.
They'll scatter eggs and eat most them themselves. So chances to raise any offspring are small.

I was thinking that too, he wasn’t very big when I got him. Maybe he’s old, he doesn’t dart around like the females do. I figured raising offspring would be hard but there’s always that one chance they forget the eggs are there and I get some fry

If my pleco doesn’t get them that is, though he never leaves the area under the filter unless he’s munching on driftwood lol

I doubt there are any left, I’ve gone through two rounds already. He’s showing normal behavior and swimming with the pack at times, but he just seems thin
