I'm so bummed

The house that we wanted to try to get after selling our condo has been sold. They received an offer yesterday at noon and I guess it was a solid offer and they accepted. They have to go through 2 weeks closing and I'm going to hope and pray that it falls through for some reason because I really want it. We haven't sold our condo yet and it's been up for a month now. We are having another open house this weekend and after this open house if we don't get any bites then we will reduce by 2,000. It's currently listed at 112,000 and it will be reduced to 110,000. I told my realtor though that we can't reduce any lower then that otherwise we won't be able to get a house at all if we get too low of an offer. If we can't sell it at the 110,000 then I'll just pull it off the market for another yr. and see what happens. This is really a bummer and so frustrating that we can't sell our condo. It's such a nice looking condo. We busted our butts to make it look nice and everything in it is brand new. This just really stinks. > Natalie

Yeah, I hope your right bonochick. My realtor is going to have a deal for this weekend. Even though it's listed at 112,000 if there are any people that come to it and they like it she said she will sell it to them for 109,900. it'll be something for them, to think about. So, we will see. Our condo is well worth it. Natalie

Here is the most recent advertisement she did for it with pics.

I don't know if you'll be able to view this link or not I hope so. Natalie

Thanks. We worked really hard to make it look nice. We did everything except the carpeting. Had lowes do that. I hope so. We've enjoyed living there. It's just time to move on to bigger and better now. We want to start a family soon. I'm not getting ant younger you know. I'm 30 yrs old. My biological clock will be ticking very soon. Natalie

Very nice looking, and good luck on your bad luck wishes for the competition. (if that makes sense )

But remember, it is probably happening this way for a reason. Fate would be much less interesting if we saw the hand before it was dealt.

Yeah, I've been saying that to my husband all along. I've been saying " If it's meant to be it's meant to be". Unless something happens in the next 2 weeks during their closing it just wasn't meant to be our house. Crossing our fingers that this open house be a success this weekend. Natalie

Chin Up Nat!!! I can sense that a new house with lots of room for fish is in your future - when I look into my crystal ball...............oh wait, that's an empty wine glass!! LOL Just kidding.

Your place looks great, and such a nice location!! Things will work out!!

Oh I am by no means giving up. I'm not one to give up very easily. I am very persistent and when I want something done I get it done. It's just frustrating because as nice as our place is and the fact that it's in such a great location(close to everything) we are just surprised that it hasn't sold yet. We really expected to have a fast sale even if the market isn't so hot right now. We will sell it though. There is no doubt about that.

yea, you'll sell it before the winter snow arrives.

really, it is a market oversaturated with cheaply-built developments (at least st.augustine is), but you'll sell your place soon enough i'm sure. O0
