I'm Short One Cory

A little while back I lost one of my six panda cories. Is a group of five fine? Or should I get another one?
Also, wouldn't it stress it out being in QT alone?

they are fine. . but if you want to have a certain amount. that is fine too. I only have 3 cory fish and they are fine. I want to get more I just can't right now

 

I would, 5 is pretty much the bare minimum and if you have room and the means to get another it’d be best. The QT will stress them out some, but it shouldn’t be to bad and it’s much better than introducing a sick fish into your tank.

 

I wouldnt bother, there's no difference between 5 or 6 really. I would probably try to save some eggs and raise the fry.

Yeah I'd go for another 2, or 1 depending on the tank size
