Shades of Alexander!! The daddy looks just like an older version of my baby!! I think they are beautiful and congratulations on getting the grass green they are really RARE. I thought my little guy was green but after a couple of days of color enhancing food he turned teal. Yours however have the grass green color and will never change. You are so lucky!!

Good luck and Congratulations on the new babies. Pictures!!! WE WILL WANT MORE PICTURES . Do they have names yet?? You know I do love babies.

Alas, I am not but I do know that we do have several very fine members from Canada. Perhaps the market would be better than you think.

If the duties and quarantines and all were not so stringent, I may even be tempted if I had room. I want a grass green SO BADLY!!

They are absolutely beautiful! I would be totally honored to share my name with a great looking betta like her. She is gorgeous and so willing to have her picture taken. You have a couple of nice little hams for sure, not at all camera shy are they? I do love them!

I did not won't to stress them out to much so I just took some quik snaps. Rose it is!!!!!!!!!

She is still really stressed out. But she is eating any ideas on what elce to do?

They are 5 months old and the female is 1" and the male lets say 1 1/2"

Don't keep the light on for the full time for a day or two and don't expect them to eat too much for a day or two. They are a bit stressed from the move. Just let them get used to their new home.

Before you try be sure and properly prepare them with the special diet and all for the length of time recommended and get the tank ready to the specifications so you do not have any problems. YOu will be so much happier with the results. And you will have to stay with them the whole time so there are no injuries inflicted. Sorry if I am telling you things you already know but I just want you to have a good experience. I have the info if you need it. (diets and tank set up)

You have Aquarius listed as a VT which I assume is meant to be Veiltail but my dear he is a Delta if I have ever seen one.  You are a very lucky lady they are much more valuable.  He is a beautiful fish and with your little lady they should produce some beautiful babies. Oh I just saw the HM part and agree wholeheartedly, he looks so much like Alexander who is a SuperDelta.

chickadee I'm confused... Aquarius is a VT hes in my av.

Okay maybe it is me who is confused. Is VT not an abreviation for veiltail? I can assure you he is NOT a veil tail. The first picture I am sending you is of a veiltail and the next one is a Super Delta. In my opinion your little guy resembles a Delta much more than the veiltail. The Half moon has to have a hind fin of 180 degrees or more and I am not seeing that much on your baby. That is why I am saying a Delta. They are both valuable as the dickens and the Delta are a bit more difficult to come by so they are more expensive so you probably do have a very rare fish with it being green which is green wihich is one of the rarest of colors.

Thisis Aquarius My VT (veiltail0 :

I'm well aware he is not a Delta or a HM

Now my new bettas will grow into a HM with care and lost of water changes.

I am sorry but I have never heard of a betta changing type with care and water changes. What they are born they generally stay. If this happens please let us know for sure. I wil be glad to know this as I am curious about the change theory as are several others I am sure.

Young fish do change given the proper care. You can have 2 HM parents that produce VT's if they are not brought up properly.

Any the Green Betta has some more growing to do
