Do you know of and understand the Aquarium Nitrogen Cycle?
Yes
A neighbor just recently posted that they are giving away a 90 gallon aquarium and stand, for free. Seems like a total no-brainer... except I have nowhere to put it. This is a ' huge tank and I quite simply do not have the space.
If I had an actual house instead of an apartment... or if the darn thing was just 40 gallons smaller, this would be perfect! Having to pass over something like this is
p a i n f u l.

People get out of the hobby all the time and sell thier gear cheap. There will be other tanks.

I would be bummed too. I see good deals all the time on large tanks but I just don't have the space and the hubby would probably object.

Def not at my apartment. Plus, I know that I can't walk this thing up the stairs without hired help. My parents would prolly object to a frankly enormous tank taking up space in their house, they have no empty spaces downstairs, and honestly I would like to have it with me to work on it.

If you can afford it, i would suggest a storage unit or a garage unit if your apartment has that as an option.

Sounds like a great (and sad) opportunity. I am having the same struggles. I'm in an apartment with 2 main tanks and one QT. I want another betta tank (The Betta Man has had a beautiful mustard gas plakat on sale for weeks now, and I really want him!), but I just don't have the room in an apartment.

In a somewhat surprising twist, it turns out we do have space to store this thing! I talked to my folks, and I think the "free" part made it much easier for my dad to be fine with it. He's weak for free stuff.
I guess I'm picking ut up tomorrow lol
