Hey guys! Super excited to find a place to learn more about bettas! Specifically tail types and how to know what these babies are!
Bred a "Half moon male" (still working on a good pic when he's flared) with a "Crown tail female" (tho her webbing is super thick so maybe combtail?) Just curious what your thoughts are. I'll try to add the male and female when I get good pics. So these babies are just about 7wks old, when SHOULD I know tail type? I feel like I have a million questions, so happy to be here thank you!

They all look like they may be super deltas (or halfmoons, get them to flare) with a combtail edge.

The last one is a caketail...

You should know for certain in 2-3 months, so I’d give them a few more weeks. They do look like ever CT or CB though, but between thre two a few more weeks will be able to tell.

And happy birthday to whoever the cake is for!

Ya the cake! I have no clue how that got in there! I am so glad it wasn't a bad picture! I can't seem to find a way to edit it if anyone wants to help me that'd be great!

Here are the parents, the boy only likes the ladies, definitely couldn't get him to flare.20190404_173643.jpg 20190404_174034.jpg 20190404_180007.jpg

I can't get over how much they are changing every day! Their fins tho so no thoughts on the parents? I'll just keep posting babies!
