I'm wondering if anyone can help me identify my Pleco as i am unsure how big it will get. I currently have a 250 litre tank and the Pleco is around 8".
    Thanks 20170730_173522.jpg

A side shot would be helpful, but it looks like a common to me.

I'm not the best at this stuff, someone will confirm soon enough.

Honestly from the front it looks like a common pleco or something similar. Bad news boss--expect it to get 12, maybe even 18 inches long when fully grown.

It appears to be a common pleco . They get huge (12-18 inches)

Thanks all for your replies, I think I have been able to identify it using your suggestions as a starting point.
I think it is a Vermiculated Sailfin Catfish.
