I'll use generalities. No scientific ID's. #1 Sea Horse, #2 Scorpion Fish (numerous varieties) #3 Lion Fish, #4 Surgeon Fish aka Tang, unknown variety. #5 Puffer Fish, unknown variety, #6 Copper Banded Butterfly - I've actually kept one of those. #7 unknown #8 same as fish #2, #8 unknown. Hope this helps a little.

Any idea what the seahorse in the first picture has his tail wrapped around? is it a species of starfish?

It looks like a Star Fish to me. I bet Chromedome will know exactly what it is, what ocean it originated from, temp range, specific gravity required and similar sub species. Lol
Just kidding CD.

Chocolate chip starfish, Protoreaster nodosus, is what it looks like to me.
I'll just answer those I know/suspect.

Pic 2: This one is annoying me. Nearly had it, but ultimately don't. Maybe I will eventually.

Pic 4 looks to be Ctenochaetus strigosus.

Pic 5: Maybe black spotted dog face puffer - Arothron nigropunctatus

Pic 6: Copper banded butterfly - Chelmon rostratus

Pic 7: Gollum. Can't see too well. Maybe Erosa erosa or something similar. Likely not.

Pic 8: Dendrochirus biocellatus maybe.

Pic 9: What am I looking at?

That would have been my thought. I would have said something like the double spined urchin - Echinothrix calamaris. Though I don't know them very well.

Number 2 strikes me as Dendrochirus brachypterus. Their colours are so diverse. From one fish to the next the colour seems to be really quite different. Though I haven't found any that look exactly like the one above. With those like this one looking the closest:

Ah okay. I thought there may be a fish hidden in there somewhere to be identified.

Yes I looked closely b didn’t see anything other than the shells so I’m assuming the OP was asking about the shelled creatures as well :)

There is a fish there in #7 but what it is I don't know. Maybe some type of Toadfish.

#3 is definitely an Urchin

#2 and #8 are fish related to the Lionfish. Turkeyfish or Scorpionfish. Similar ones are sometimes called Dwarf Lions. I had one once.
