Hey guys! So, I'm pretty new to the fish keeping hobby. I'm working with a 30 gallon tank that finished cycling last week and is now home to my 5 cherry barbs, with more planned for the future. While I'm waiting on the tank to "establish" itself per say before adding more fish, I want to concentrate on making it look better than it does. Here's a picture (click for large): I'm not really too sure on what to do with it other than some sort of a background to cover up the wire and whatnot from the heater, filter, and thermometer. In my final stocking, I'd like to have 1 Angel, 1 or 2 Bolivian Rams, 6 Cherry Barbs, 6 Rummy-nose Tetras, and a school of some sort of Cory catfish. (if this helps spur any ideas, lol). Any recommendations on what I can do to make this tank look better? Driftwood and plants maybe? If so, what kind of plants? So far my ability to come up with aquascape ideas has been an epic failure, so any ideas are greatly welcomed and appreciated! Thanks!
