ID confirm. SAE or flying fox?

Picked up what I thought initially was a flying fox but is it actually a SAE?

I've never owned either and have never seen SAE in stores here. This fish however was brought in a few weeks ago.. There were 4 in a 12g! I have had then in QT at work believing flying fox.

Its allready happy in my 4ft either way.

SAE. Black line goes through tail. Flying fox it stops at tail. SAE is the better of the 2 fish but you should get another. They like to chase each other all day long. Without another it may start chasing them fish

I read the black line isn't smooth and more zigzag at the edges too which fits my fish.

I thought one would be OK by itself but I can get another. Once they reach full size will they not be territorial with another?

I think most of my fish are going to be able to handle themselves. I have a community but the barbs and rainbows are tough fish and the rummys seem to hold their own. BN plecs and the krib are tough too.

Not territorial. With 2 they pretty much spend all day chasing,resting and if you have any eating bba.

Agree, get it a buddy. When playing tag they are super fast like torpedoes with jet packs.

I will get another then so he has a buddy ... He or she is allready looking around for bits of algae. Gets stuck in at feeding time too.
