Looks too big to be ich. They usually look like salt grains on the fish.
Does it look on top of the scales or a scale? Fuzzy?

It looks like a fungus to me. Possibly an abrasion w/ Fungus attached to damaged tissue. Likely no worries. Ick would look like salt sprinkled all over the body & fins.
Keep a close eye on the spot. If it expands, you might be dealing with a bacterial infection.

A word of advice, if you can, try to use things like nets and siphons just on this tank at the moment. Just a precaution!

Agree with@a201 that it looks like fungus. Either salt or melafix/pimafix will clean it up in no time. But you have to look at what caused the fungus to grow in the first place. Have you food that's left to rot and grow fungus in the bottom of the tank? What are water parameters? Clean pristine water is what will keep fungus away long term.

Parameters are good ammonia and nitrite are 0 nitrates are 5ppm. He only gets a few minI pellets a morning and he eats them all. Nothing looks out of place in the tank, no fungus no algae.

He moves too much for me to be able to get a good look/picture. I almost thought it was a scale at 1st.

I think it might have actually been a loose? scale. He wiggled around in tight circles like he was trying to scratch an itch for a day and then the next day the spot was gone and it hasn't come back. He's been acting normal since then
