Ich Treatment with Snails

I recently got a new 10 gallon tank that came with two nerite snails, as well as, Malaysian trumpet snails. It's been running for about a week at my house and also has live plants. I put a new betta in the tank last night, since I was already quarantining the snails, which in retrospect was a mistake. Woke up to find the betta on the bottom covered in ich. As the day progressed, he also developed a sore on his side. I put him in a quarantine tank this morning (before the sore developed) and added Kordon Rapid Cure, as I had it on hand. Temp is around 82. Now I'm wondering if I should lower the temp, due to possible bacterial infection. So, my questions are:
1. Should I continue to treat him in the quarantine tank? Or just treat the whole tank?
2. I ran out and purchased Ich X, because it's invertebrate safe. Should I use that instead of the Rapid Cure?
3. Should I add Kanaplex or Maracyn to his treatment?
4. Should I lower the temp?
5. Am I going to need to sterilize everything in the tank?
It should be noted that I added PraziPro to the tank last night, as it's my normal course of action with new fish.

It does look like it has gotten infected with bacteria/fungi. I prefer Ich-X to any other ich medication. I would keep him in the quarantine, but chances are the ich is going to spread. You can watch all of your fish closely and wait, or use the ich-X now. It is really up to you. I think the temp is fine. If he doesn't start improving very soon, I would add some sort of antibiotic as well.
By sterilize the tank, do you mean the quarantine tank after he is out or the main tank? For my quarantine tank, I scrub it down with aquarium salt and it dry out.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, he passed last night. Now I’m wondering how best to clean the main tank. It has driftwood, dragon stone, live plants, and snails in it. Should I remove the snails and put them in quarantine? Then sterilize the tank/decor? I’m assuming I should just ditch the sand substrate and filter media and start over.

I am so sorry! So in theory, ich can't survive without fish. Keeping the tank without fish for two weeks should be enough to get rid of it. if you ditch the filter media, it might crash the cycle.

Sorry for all the questions, but how would you suggest handling new, used tanks? I picked this one up two weeks ago and just started using it. If I let it run empty for a month, except for the snails, will it be safe to use for fish? Everyone I've talked to has said I should clean/sterilize it, but, like you said, I really hate crashing the cycle. I'm concerned that the fish that died may have had something more serious, like columnaris. I do have an extra seeded filter that I could use to quarantine the snails in another container, while I clean it. But I'd rather not start over from scratch, if I can avoid it.
