Ich Treatment for community tank

So, i've just noticed that my black neon tetras are showing ich spots, I'm trying to decide on if I should treat with meds or raising the temp . My betta had ich a while ago but he was alone in his tank and I treated by raising the temp to 84f and treating with paraguard.

My tank has 6 bronze corys / 8 harlequin rasboras / 8 black neons / 2 amano shrimp

So which would be the better raising the temp, meds or both?
Also what temp would be best?

I would do 85* and NO meds as you have shrimp in there. You have to leave it for an month or so to kill the hatching eggs too. Clean your gravel really good in a few days. Someone may chime in with a shrimp safe med though.

Will the corys be okay with the temp that high?

I used meds recently and some of my fish didn’t handle it well at all. I agree with star girl go the temp route. Those meds are like chemotherapy and it stains stuff.

Yeah i'm definitely going the heat route since it's in the early stage with only two showing signs.
I've been slowly raising the temp to 85f and added two airstone for extra oxygen.

How long should I keep the heat up?

At least 2 or 3 weeks to break the cycle.
