I have never experienced it but that definitely looks like Ick to me. What are your water parameters? I assume that is an SAE.

I'm sure the more experienced members can help.

Is there a chance you have specific parameters?

Do you have specific water parameters, in numbers? Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but this will help us.

Often times water quality that is off can cause disease. Good water quality can keep your fish healthy. Good Toxin parameters are 0ppm Ammonia, 0ppm Nitrite, and Under 20ppm Nitrate.

We have a happy emergency fish care list thing you can fill out. And "all green" can be different for different fish as they require different care. A discus will literally die if you keep it in the same water paramaters as an african cichlid. The more information you give us, the easier it is to help you. Which is why you are here, right?
That being said. That is Ich, not velvet. kordon rapid cure will indeed get rid of it. So will many other things. Even heat and no chemicals. Knowing you have a crustacean in the tank helps us narrow down the "best" options a little, but not by much.
