ICH issue

Hi! I'm new to this forum. I just recently began caring for fish again. I have a 10 gallon planted aquarium. I have 4 shrimps, 6 neon tetras, and one male betta currently living in the tank. One of my neon had ich about 2 weeks ago and I was pretty sure I treated it. I used kordon ich attack and the ich disappeared during the first day of usage. I continued the treatment for 4 more days and did a 25% water change. After waiting for an hour I did a water test using API testing kit, and my ammonia and nitrite were at 0, while my nitrate was between 0-5 ppm. I used Tetra SafeStart after every water change. After a week I added a wisteria to my tank and my 3 neon got ich again and I started the treatment again. The treatment was doing well and eventually only 1 of my neon had ich. However, during feeding session today I noticed my betta began developing ich as soon as I turned off the air stone to feed. I did a water test and my ammonia was 0.25 ppm, nitrite was 0 ppm. and nitrate at 5 ppm. Should I do a water change or just continue with my treatment?

I'd stop treatment and do a water change. The medicine may be messing with your BB. Aside from that, bettas can be sensitive to meds. The best and least stressful method for treating ich is the heat treatment. Bump up the heat (gradually over several hours) to 86 F. Keeping a stable 86 degree temp, treat fish for 2 weeks with daily vacuuming. After the 2 weeks, gradually reduce heat back to normal temperatures. Aside from that, neon tetras and bettas are not temperature compatible. The tetras prefer slightly cooler temps. I also personally wouldn't house a school of tetras and a betta in a 10 gallon. There isn't enough room for both and I believe the neons require a larger tank in general. I hope your fish get to feeling better soon.

Don't use the medicines .Just rise the temperature and put some airstones in the tank.

Do not use medicines instead raise the temperature and add some salt. Keep the temp around 28-30 °C. Do 50% water change daily and gravel vac very carefully as cysts fall when they mature. You will see the cysts on the bed once they mature. So graval vac is very important. You may solve the problem in 2-3 days but continue to do all the work till 7 days.

They may be. I've never done salt for my fish before so I'm not entirely sure what that entails. Maybe forego the salt for now and just do the temp treatment.

Do one thing. Do not add salt but do the rest of the things.
