I wonder what this headache is from? *goes on internet* Brain cancer.

I have done this in regards to myself. And now, I have officially done this in regards to my fish as well.

I thought I saw a small white patch on my betta but only when looking from a certain angle. His fins are also ripped. He must have columnaris.

Isn't it unfortunate how we can get ourselves worked up because symptoms of serious diseases can also be symptoms of passing ailments? With people as well as with fish. When I was younger I used to google my symptoms and at one point I actually DID think I had brain cancer!

 

You can google all you want and not know you have cancer. My mother-in-law just had her third brain cancer surgery. We didn't know the symptoms lead to cancer at all! It wasn't until she ran over a curb and popped a tire that she even went to the ER.

 

Yeah, googling can be useless in both ways - it makes worry or it doesn't tell you enough.

I had a lump on my right chect muscle. After googling I thought I had breast cancer. Went to the doctor and it was just a natural lump to some guys get if they lift weights that affects the chest muscles.

Or when I was sicks for a month I read being sick for two or more weeks is a sure sign of HIV.

Thanks. Sitting in hospital now after brain surgery #3 and surgery #5 in total. Tough disease this cancer is!!

 

yeah I have done this too. go online if I have symptoms a, b and c....then fearing I have x. probably best to not stress about the what if's...and just try to enjoy things

 

I'm doing this today with my fish The truth is I have no idea what is wrong and it's probably just their version of a cold or something and I'm freaking out. *sigh* At least I know there are people here that understand!
