29 Gallon Tank I was sold the wrong fish

Today I went to my local store to pick up some jewel cichlids for my newly cycled 29 gallon tank
There is a type of jewel that has a cream colored body with blue spots, however after getting home and introducing the fish IM 90% sure I now have 4 jack dempseys in my tank

 

I don't think that's a Dempsey. Are the first and second pics two different fish?

The first one looks like a Juvenile Firemouth, Blue Acara or possibly a Green Terror to me- it's hard to tell without full colors.You can get away with 1 in a 29 but not all four. The orange striping on the Dorsal isn't Dempsey IMHO. My Dempsey's have never had that even as Juvi's.
I have seen it in Blue Acara's, Green Terror's, or Firemouth's.

The second fish looks like a Jewel. It's been awhile since I had Jewel's but I would say it is.

It's hard to tell from pics but I'm pretty sure you don't have Dempsey's.

Those are JD's You're going to need a Much larger tank!

4....erm, correct me if I'm wrong buuuut that could get very ugly as they grow. Imo, if its jewels your after return these guys and get em.

 

Those are indeed JD's. Jewels don't get that tall in proportion to their length. Those are just lighter colored JD's like what I have in my tank. You can see the picture of the juvie as my avatar to the left.

I agree, return immediately before they start fighting for territory....it won't be pretty because they will tear off each other's tails, fins, and scales.

 

Taking them back now while they're still in one piece. Thanks for the quick responses and confirming my suspicion. Turns out the owner was out for a few hours and his daughter was filling in and she thought the jds were jewels :/
