Depending on what size pond or what type of container you want you can either use a pond filter or a regular tank filter. As for the heater they do sell pond heaters, which are for larger ponds or you can use a regular fish tank heater. Filter and heater should say on the packaging how many gallons it can be used for.

Are you going to get more guppies? If so how many? What do the guppies you have look like?

If you need something sturdier in the future and don't mind it being black, this is what I'm planning on using for an indoor pond: . I got it cheaper than this at Costco and in a larger size (I think 50 gallons), and have filled it with water a few times now to soak wood and rocks, and it hasn't bulged at all, even with the lid off.

Instead of the HOB filter, you might want to get one or two sponge filters--they are inexpensive, you won't need the separate air stone, there is no fear of losing fry up the water intake pipe, and fry LOVE to graze on all the stuff that ends up on the surface of the filter. If you can't do that right now, then I usually cut the foot off of a pair of panty hose and tie that over the filter intake, to make sure nothing gets sucked up
