yes you can. but you must remember that they are livebearers and will breed. so if you are you already breeding platy's then you will know what to expect.

My platys are breeding so I kno. I'm told they can breed with platys is this ture?

maybe if you kept one of each together for a long time but i'm not sure on this.

From what I've read. Platys and Swordtails can cross-breed. Likewise so can Mollies and Guppies.

Swords are amazing fish and are a little more difficult to breed. If you do get any fry to make it you are one of the lucky ones. I have trouble with them.

I find them prolific breeders and very rarely lose fry. do you lose them at birth or while they are growing?
what do you feed them?
what temp is the water?
do you have them in a separate tank?
