I"ve got a snail problem

Can anyone tell me hos the best way to get rid of snails that have suddenly appeared in our tank the only think different that we are doing is putting different waffers for our bristlenose don't really want to pull apart whole tank as I have new fry 4wks old and female bristlenose has just layed more eggs?Does anyone have any ideas.

You can put a lettuce leaf in a salt shaker and leave overnight in your tank and in early in the morning take it out. It should slowly get the baby snails.

Another method is manually take them out like I do when I see them.

I would assume that is an empty salt shaker lol.

Some snails are also an indication of over feeding. Might want to watch how much your fish are actually eating.

I always recommend assassin snails! I had tons of pond snails and I bought 6 assassins for my 29 gallon it's been about 2 months and I rarely see snails anymore.

Even it's shell looks dangerous!

If you didn't feed algae wafers for a few days, then just dropped one in, all the snails would probably flock to it and you could remove them in the morning.
