I Think My Tetra Ate My Shrimp

I was watching my tank before I headed off to work. My shrimp was swimming near the surface when my black tetra swum up behind him then my shrimp was gone. Afterwards I looked for the shrimp thinking there no way the black tetra could eat a shrimp the same size as it, but found nothing. Can a black tetra eat a shrimp super fast & one the same size as him?

I doubt he would have taken a whole shrimp unless it was a baby, it's possible the tetra took a nip at him and the shrimp went into hiding where he'll stay for a while, if he did injure or kill him the tetra would quickly rip him apart and eat him
