I think my jewel is going blind.... He has been swimming into fish, plants and ornaments like he didn't know they wer there and when feeding I have to put the food within six inches for him to take it or he won't eat. My parameters are perfect but wondering if thee is something that can test for that may caus this. I have 21 fish in my tank and he's the only one with this issue . I have noticed he's been progressively getting shy but he's now bumping into things.

How do his eyes look?
Are they clear?

disorientation is a sign of serious internal problems.

By internal probums do you mean parasites

yes could be parasites. Unless there are obvioous external physical signs, like ich or fungus or something, it's almost very difficult to determine what's actually wrong with the fish.

He is the king of my tank and the oldest fish in my tank almost three years I'd hats to see him go any ideas to help him I really don't want to have to euthanize him but don't want to se him suffer needlessly

I don't have a second filter for a quarantine tank I watch my tank intently and watch for anything with new fish and return any questionable ones but I think I will have to but won't have time till the weekend

Watching the fish doesn't prevent the spread of disease. the weekend is 5 days away - long enough to infect the rest of your fish.

Quarantine tanks are essential.

I can probably make a makeshift one with air stone and a tube for water movement with some bio max to keep a cycle I gues for now it's better than nothing

Just use the air stone and water from the Aquarium. Air stone will work for a QT tank. Just keep up the treatment and water changes.

W/C, discard water from QT tank and replace with aquarium water.
