The egg spot showing like that doesn't necessarily mean she's got eggs. You can usually see them on the female bettas.

Ok...well she was awful fat. Do you think she is full of eggs or just bloated?

Probably just bloated. I don't think she's had any stimulis to produce eggs.

There is a fish food that has a constipation relief effect on fish. It is HikarI Freeze-dried DAPHNIA. It is loaded with natural fiber and it takes the place of pea treats for fish that will not eat peas and they can eat as much as they want and it will not constipate them as it is mostly fiber and will never be a problem. It is also loaded with good protein for them and is a perfect food for sick fish and fish that are being medicated. It is all I give my fish when they are in the hospital tank and being medicated as their activity levels are down and they also may have a lowered metabolism. Most of them love it and it is 100% natural. They are shellfish and totally natural part of their diet. Also very cheap and the canister goes a long ways.

(I know there are a lot of varieties there but the Daphnia is the one I am looking at here although my fish do eat the Freeze-dried Bloodworms also)

The daphnia looks like quite the product I need to look into it more. Sorry for changing the subject if I did.

Could her seeing Jasper & Mr. Peach across the room make be stimulated? They did all noticed each other until I put her in the second room.

I have only notice her poop the once...she still is puffy but no where as bad as the first pixs.

I'd be surprised although it's not impossible. We've had Teddy Bear & Kairi's tank next to each other for months and they see each other all the time without any egg production. Mickey & Chloe have their tanks together but just some flirting, no eggs.

I'll see if my lfs has it..she really isn't not impressed with peas. I don't like em myself unless they are in something. :;rab We've got to do a pet store run over the weekend...litter for cats and fish food for cichlids & betta. I f I can't find it...we are going to do an online order for food & fish after we move n two weeks.

We did have 1 betta that didn't like thawed frozen peas - he'd turn his nose up at them and ignore them completely. We got him to eat them by feeding him peeled canned peas (no salt). After getting that for a few times, he was ready for the thawed frozen ones.
