Aww, AJ sounds so sweet. He must be a bit like Dorado. He will almost always swim up to me when I call him and sit right next to me at the front of the tank, gazing up at me with his little eyes while I talk to him. Dorado was always so kind and I never once saw him chasing the catfish while he was in the 20gal with them.

I think their personality is the main reason we love Bettas so much. They're all so different, but they all have one quality and that is to make you love them so much you just need to get more Bettas! ;D

 

AJ is a darling. He does the same thing that Phlox used to do with Phloxface. He swims into my cupped hand when I am cleaning the tank.

That sounds so sweet! It made me laugh tonight because while I was just cleaning Romeo's tank he bit the heck out of my finger while I wasn't paying attention to him. That's my little lover boy!

 

None of ours really swim right into my hand when i'm working on the tanks, but they do like to hang out close and keep an eye on things, and brush up against my hand.. aslan is like romeo.. he likes to teach me a lesson for messing with HIS tank.
