    Hey guys,
So I went to my LFS, and there was a clown knife fish, about five inches long, still a baby,
and he was on sale for seven dollars...

I was talking to the store manager about how I really wanted him, but I had to wait for my allowance.

And he then, he just said congratulations! And he just GAVE him to me!

SO I have a new baby clown knife fish...

Getting to the point, do you guys have any suggestions on tank setups, and things I need to look out for?
    Thank you!

Well....seeing as how they get get 3 feet long...you need a monster sized tank if you want to keep that fish.

Are you able to get a tank 200 gallons or larger?

    Yes I am!
I'm going to prepare a 400 gallon, with just the clown knife.
I usually go bigger for all of my fish, so I'm preparing myself!

Wow!! 400 gallons??? For a "young high schooler"?? That's awesome that your parents will allow that!! Are they fans of the fish hobby as well?

Yeah! My parents literally gave up on me and my LOVE for fish!!

They said that if I'm going to save up my money and buy it myself, and I won't drown the house,
    Then its okay!

But my parents don't really know much about fish.
They're the type of people to keep guppies in a bowl...unfortunately...

I won't let them do that anymore though!

A 400 gallon could definitely drown the house! Hopefully not though! haha

How long do you think it'll take you to save enough money to buy a tank that large? Will you even be living at home anymore at that point!?haha kidding.

Hmmm, a DIY plywood aquarium would be much more affordable than a glass one, though you may have issues finding something that works as a viewing panel, the King of DIY has a building series on YouTube about it.

    Yeah...

I saw the King of DIY video.
I regularly watch his channel for ideas!

I might do something like that, like, on the ground.

So something like the 2000 gallon that Joey Mullen has...
    But DEFINITELY smaller.

Watch the videos for the full version, but TLDR version is pond epoxy

    Just a tad smaller
