I Need Help with Marineland filter

I posted earlier about my Marineland Penguin filters starting to pour water out of the intake part of the filter. I believe my filters (4 weeks old in new tank) are clogged and causing the water to back up. I do not have replacements, as typically my filter cartridges on my other filters last forever. I checked Amazon to order new ones, they won't get here until late May. Of course everything here is closed, and if our Walmart has something I could use, they are sorely lacking in stock for those kinds of items because of where we are located. I also am high risk for the virus, so I am trying to stay home. Our lockdown won't end until April 8th, if then.
My water is cloudy, and I'm afraid that if I don't do something soon, my filters will overflow and flood my house. Is there anything I can use to replace them for the time being? Would really hate to lose my fish, or flood my house.
The only thing I have on hand is some quilt batting, and possibly a foam replacement pad for a chair (if I can find it). Any suggestions are welcome.

I could, but all retail stores are closed. I'm trying to avoid going out as well.

How much do I use? This is a brand new cycled tank as well, I suppose this will destroy my bacteria?

you use some of your old filter stuff as well as a small amount of the batting and your bacteria will be all right

Why can't you take them out and put them in a 5 gallon bucket with some tank water and clean them really good.

I do this to my filters at least 5-6 times before I start to replace them

I've done that. Twice now. To the point that the floss is starting to come apart. Can't clean them anymore.
