I Need A Second Opinion [emoji848]

My Emperor has been in a 125gal for 5 months. One day, seemingly overnight, I noticed him looking like this. Small grains all over him like ich/ick. None of my other fish seemed to have this. I do have sand and gravel mixed in my tank. Looking for second thoughts.

He could likely be stressed. What is the temperature? Usually, ich occurs when the fish is newly introduced to the tank because he is stressed which weakens his immune system. But you said he has been in for 5 months! Do any of your other fish have ich or HAD?

The temperature us 78° on one side, 80° on the other. The only changes have been rearranging and adding fake plant in the past month.

When rearranging things in the tank can stress the fish out.

Also the tank mates have either not had ich or others have been over a year without.
