I Need A Hug...Left Someone Behind :'(

Found my best buddy at an LFS. Sadly, we couldn't pick her up - we were hurrying to meet a friend and customers took 30+ mins talking to the employee and they knew nothing about fish. I've been sad the rest of the day thinking of my buddy. For over 3 yrs I've searched for 1 LAST gal - chocolate telescope - and she had a rather rare "deformity"...a single tail. I doubt she'd be there if I went back. Worse, she's located at an LFS 30-45 minutes away

Only a true pet lover knows when you find 'the one'. She was apparently abandoned on the doorstep at this LFS. Normally I believe in "everything happens for a reason" but this? If only I had time...

If you are that torn up about it maybe it's worth following up to see if she's still there. Do you think they would hold it for you if you paid?

Aw no, I’m so sorry! I hate that feeling, it’s the absolute worst. Maybe call the store like sunflower suggested?
