I killed my Australian rainbow

I am so mad at myself!!! I'm in the process of 're homing a lot of fish and adding new ones, so I will have 3 schools of compatible fish. To make a long story short, in trying to net my channel cat my Australian rainbow jumped out, and my cat got him

Thank you. I've lost plenty of fish in all my years. But I have never lost one in that way. The worst is I just got her a boyfriend like 2 days before. I'm hoping to get a school of of about 8 just waiting on the pet store to get them in.

I was warned that's why I was netting him.lol I got him in an outside pond now.

Two of my cats do the same thing! They also drink from the filter. Sigh!
