Today I saw the most beautiful blue male betta I have ever seen in my life. I didn't get him only because I was going to a friends place right after the quick stop and wouldn't be home for a few hours. I also didn't have any tank to put him in. I hope he is still there when I visit next time, his littel fins were still in the best of shape.

Thanks, that almost brought a tear to my eye, except sweat went there instead. And it burns. But I hope to go back on Friday after work and pick up a temp 1 gallon tank while I set up the 3 gallon tank for it to be cycled(to much to remove from 36 gallon tank at one time unless doing water change).

Good luck to you, Friday is also the day I will know if this is the week to get my female.....I have to laugh, cuz right now I have 2 spare Eclipse 3 gallon and 2 spare 2g's.........the 2 g's were bought when I bought a fish and had no tanks, then the 3's were their first upgrade. So now I can have a hospital tank if needed and three tanks so I could buy a betta at the spur of the moment. However, I really, in this big house have anyplace left for a tank, unless in my bedrooms and computer rooms. Geez they would be hard to vist..............

Tom and Val how funny............some may know that after 20 years away I have moved back in with my folks ( break up of relationship)

My plan, and the folks know, is to put them in a home to make more room in this already big house for more bettas!! Is that a little Harsh!?!?
