I had a strange fish dream last night…….

I had a strange dream. It started with me in my backyard, then some sort of apocalypse happened, and so my house was destroyed. For some reason I ignored that. When I went to check on my fish, the water was so cloudy I couldn’t see him in the water. When I finally was able to see, his fins popped off and turned him into a short tail betta (is that what they’re called?) and he was struggling to swim. I tried to help him, but couldn’t. At the end of the dream it was revealed that the ammonia was over 10 ppm!
Have any of you had nightmares like this?

 

I’ve had a dream where I was turned into a micro critter and the tetras swimming over me were blimp sized , you know those strange dreams where you really feel a massive size difference and you feel huge or tiny ? Tactile dreams are weird.

 

Strange. I had the first ever last week. 2" of water on floor and I kept netting fish and putting them back in tank till I discovered they were leaking out of the tank as fast as I returned them. Not the kind of dream you like when your only tank is a 55 that's been running about 45 plus years.

 

Fish dreams awakened me & led me out to the tank room at 3am the other day. A heater had failed, the fire was out & my rasboras, khulis & RCS were in 66F water. Grateful for back up heaters & yes, disturbing fish dreams. Only lost one shrimp - so far.

 

I have fish dreams when I am worried about my fin babies.
I have had dreams that other people try to hurt my bettas but it's usually during a time when I am trying to fight/cure some issue or other.
