I couldn’t believe it....shrimp babies?

I just moved all my fish plants and filter to my upgraded aquarium except for a small decoration and a patch of s. Repens that had a lot of algae on it. So tonight I’m double checking the old tank to make sure I got everything and I see a large clear shrimp on the plant which I think is an Amano then I see 6 more but they are babies!! I’m confused because I didn’t think I had any more shrimp left and now there are babies. I’m scared that I took most of them out without even knowing it when I pulled up my carpet of s. Repens earlier today. They are clear and very hard to see! Can you identify if these are Amano? Is it true I have to put them into salt water?? The were cruisin just fine. Ugh ‍

What you have is "fake" amano shrimp. You can tell by the lack of spots and that they had babies in freshwater. They are not real amano shrimp and the babies don't need salt.

If they were Amanos they would not have even gone past the larval stage.
