I was feeding my guppy and betta community tank blood worms and I dropped the cube!!!! All the fish dashed to food !!! I think the guppies were overfed what do I do! HELP! I saw a trail of poop coming from the guppies which I read means that they were overfed! Will this hurt them?!! I tried scooping out most blood worms but some already sank or were eaten. What should I do!!!??? I'm really worried!

I would do a water change to remove the uneaten food and then don't feed them for a couple days

Ok Imma do a siphon and today I was going to pick up some glass shrimp to clean and some nerite snails, I think that will also help. Thank you so so much I love these fish so much I also only feed blood worms once a week but algae wafers and pellets for the guppies, some pellets treats for bettas too sometimes

That sounds good! What size tank is it? Your betta may eat the shrimp! And yes you are welcome!!

Ok if their are lots of hiding places it should be ok! And yes you could probably get 8 or so if you want!! Just make sure they are all ghost shrimp and not any whisker shrimp! Whisker shrimp are very agressive! May I ask how long the tank had been set up??

Ok then you probably should not add shrimp... For a little while any way!!You are doing a fish in cycle I imagine?? Shrimp can be sensitive to water parameters!! It is also good to have a bio film built up for them!!! How are your guppies and betta getting along?? I am asking because I have heard of people having problems with bettas and guppies because bettas don't like the big flowing tails on the guppies!!

The bettas and guppies are doing good and I did a fish out cycle before adding the fish in. And how long to wait?

The plants have algae though sin e they were in a tank before, so was decor, I just upgraded my fish into a bigger tank

Ok!! So do you move your filter over too?? What are your water parameters?? Just curious as to see if you are cycled for sure just so we can be sure your fish will stay healthy!! Um.. I would wait at least a month or to before adding shrimp!! How many guppies do you have?? Are they male or female or both???

I wish u commented earlier... I just got what I thought to be ghost shrimp but found that they were Amano shrimp and now I'm trying to see how to take care of them. I have 3 female guppies, a waterfall filter and I don't have a test kit, it's heated and has a light, blue gravel, lots of live plants, glass lid. The lid has an opening for the filter so I'm worried about them getting out, and if they'll be ok with bettas and guppies.

I can send them back but they don't have glass shrimp... please halp

I think that the amino shrimp will be fine. I've never kept them myself, but I've seen whole colonies in 5 gallons with no problems.
They shouldn't get out. I would just siphon up any old food and do a water change. Don't worry about it.

Since you’re cycling, it is important to get a test kit.

Do you have amazon prime?
