I have 4 tall hygra plants that my betta loves to sleep in one of the most healthy ones is getting too tall for the tank should I trim the plants down or will they start to buch out??? thanx for any help
Sure trim it down to where you want it and you can even plant the part you cut off.
Now I'm going to assume that I'm going to have to keep up on trimming these little buggers is this a save assumption and will they start to bush out when I do this for a long enough period of time??
They will bush yes but you will probably have to trim it often and these are free plants. Maybe after you have all you need your LFS will trade your trimmings for fish supplies. They don't usually give much but every little bit helps
Yeah this is true. My lfs won't take any other plants except from their suppliers .... it really sucks, anyway I heard about this stuff by Tetra, it is supposed to be a fertilizer has anyone heard anything about this and is a good one? I currently use one that is by SeaChem. I'm also completely out of ferterlizer now (Man this sux) so if this stuff is anygood let me know, I'd like to find a very efficient (and if possible cheapish) one.
