I just started using it to get algae off my plants (20ml for a 20g tank each time I do a PWC).
It's working great on some plants but not so great on the Green Cabomba.
Is it safe for the fish, the good bacteria in the filter and the plants if I up the dosage to 2x-3x as much each PWC?

I wonder if spot treating would work better than upping the dose. You could still dose the 20ml but more concentrated out of a syringe right were its needed most.

I agree, spot treat. Squirting into the aquarium won't do as much, though squirting it on specific spots is more effective.
