So I've ended up with a hydra infestation in my sponge filter. I removed as much as I can and switched out filters. Before I bring in Fenbendazole and possibly kill my snails as it's heavily planted and can't vac, I read somewhere that 3-5g of Aquarium Salt per 1 Liter is safe for shrimp and plants and that'll kill hydra as well. I just artificially hatched 36 eggs, so I'm concerned about the babies.

From the German site translated:
"Hydras are very sensitive to common salt and die when applied at 3 to 5 g per 1 liter of water after three to five days of treatment, which is safe for aquarium dwellers."
Has anyone had experience with this?
