Hydor 250

I got a Hydor 250 canister filter for $10 from a pallet sale. I finally rounded up all the missing parts and the stupid thing won't run. Any idea what would keep the motor from running? I've never had a canister before. I primed it, it's full of water but nothing is moving.

Approximately how old do you think it is? Is it beat up at all?
It could be the pump or impeller being broken, something in the main powerhouse where everything functions.

Not sure, seemed to just be a return but it had definitely been used at one point.

Ok let's see if this is a judgement free zone... The impellor is missing. I'll get back to you in a couple days to see if I finally have my ducks in a row.
