Hi guys I haven't posted in a while but could really use the help. A few weeks ago my sons dinosaur bichir attacked my 2 African dwarf frogs. Regrettably Kermit didn't make it but sloth did, but suffered the loss of a few toes. Wed moved her into the 20 gal tank We have to keep her safe. We thought she was healing ok but apparently not. We just looked at her and her foot is infected and bleeding and her entire leg is swollen. Is there anything we can do? Please help and thank you in advance.

She was our first frog and were all highly attached to her lol at least we think it's a her. We've looked and it had looked ok but couldn't really tell with her being in the wisteria and thought she was ok because she swims perfectly fine but this time she was actually where we could see her and it's not pretty... she can't even bend it with how swollen it is...

Is she able to get to the top for air? You might want to get something considerable shorter than a 20 gallon.
It'll be less stress and effort or her leg so she can get to the top.

She gets to the top easily and typically hangs out in the wisteria which has grown massively taking up almost the entire left side of the tank from top to bottom. Sometimes shell just chill near the top and chill in the bamboo that's about 3/4 of the way to the top of the tank

It's her from right leg if you have her on her back.

If she's looking at you that's the leg. Well the foot

Ooof, that looks really bad.
Keep the water super clean. Usually once an infection sets in it's hard to stop but not unheard of.

What fish are in the 20 gallon? Is she eating?

Temporarily a dwarf gourami until he's too big because of Dino. A few mollies and 2 ghost catfish. We make sure to put extra blood worms in to make sure she gets some and she'll also typically come up with everyone else at feeding time.

We'd had to put powder (the dwarf gourami) in because Dino attacked him and took 3 chunks out if him at the same time he'd attacked my frogs. We were doing daily doses of melafix and it helped powder but apparently didn't do anything for sloth.

She hasn't eaten in 2 day. We've put her in quarantine in a 1 gal and melafix everyday but doesn't seem tonbe doing well
