Hundreds Of Somthing In My Shrimp Tank!!!

They may be copepods but I'm not sure. It's impossible to get a picture but there are thousands of them on the glass in my shrimp tank. Are they harmful to the shrimp? What do I do to get rid of them?

I can also see larger ones swimming in the water.

Copepods are not harmful to shrimp. Hydra would be the thing I'd worry about, but if they don't match the pics of hydra, then it shouldn't be a problem. We can't tell you what they are without a pic.

You can get rid of them by feeding less and doing more water changes to remove mulm/uneaten food/waste in the tank.
