Hi jillian welcome to FishLore!!
I'm sorry you fish is worrying you.
Can you post a picture? Do they eyes look cloudy or does it look like a growth?

If you could fill in your aquarium info, it will help the members help you.
Without this information, it's hard to know where to start.

It's found under My Settings on the blue bar at the top left.

Good luck!

They didn't show up, you might have to re-size them.

Were you able to re-size them? If they're too big, they won't load or
you can try a photo sharing site like photo bucket.

If you uploaded the picture to photobucket, just copy the IMG code (not the thumbnail) in the post.
Don't forget to fill in your aquarium info too.

I don't know what the cause of the whiteness in the eye is.. But I think your Oscar has another disease. Hole in the head disease if I'm not mistaken. Question, Why is the water cloudy? Did you medicate it?

If your Oscar is eating well, then I would soak his food in Garlic to boost his immune system. Change the water frequently(But since your husband put it medication I think that would complicate things) Hole in the Head disease can be deadly, but I think you should try treating him for his eye problem first since that can prevent your fish from eating.

There is medication for Hole in the Head disease.. the name escapes me.. Metro.. something. I don't recommend putting in many medications at once.

welcome to fishlore!! sorry your oscar isnt feeling well though

the white eye(cloudy eye) and the HITH (if that's what he has, the pics are hard to tell) are usually from bad water conditions and not enough of a varied diet....do you feed them live feeders from a pet store?

at this point, he needs prestine water with daily partial water changes......see if you can find either prime or amquel+ to save what's left of the good bacteria needed....can you fill in your aquarium information under mysettings, so we know what else may be going on with the tank? how longs it been set up? what's in there with him? what size is the tank? do you know what your ammonia/nitrites/nitrates are? it could be something as simple as cycling the tank to cure him...I wouldnt medicate anymore and try cleaning up the water with the water changes....good luck!
