Hello I was wanting to put together 1 dwarf gourami and 2 mexican dwarf crayfish and was wondering how well they will do together? Also is the gourami a good loner fish or like multiples in a tank? I have a cycled 10 gallon that is empty but i have 2 other tanks so i need a good fish that does well alone and also with dwarf crayfish. Thank you for any and all advice.

Dwarf gouramis can be extremely aggressive. I wouldn't risk it. If you want a more peaceful version of the dwarf gourami, look into the honey gourami. I would get 1 of them.

Honey gourami are a better choice but I wouldn’t recommend them in a 10 gal

Thank you I appreciate the advice. I ended up going with guppies they seemed to be the best match for the dwarf crayfish temperament, temperature, and level wise. I will eventually have a tank with Angel's or gorouamis lol just have to wait some time. I just started gaining knowledge and being as my husband calls it a "fish mommy" so I know with those kinds of fish it takes more care and knowledge and even room so for now I'll stick with my heart fish just in case. I did see the honey gorouamis at my aquarium store and they are beautiful fish.
