How To Use Prazipro

Hello, so my betta tank (10 gallon) has two male bettas with a division.
One of my bettas has stringy poop so I went ahead and bought PraziPro.
How do I do this treatment ?
They both have a sponge filter on each of their sides.
Do I remove the filters? Do I just put the treatment in?

 

No don’t remove any filter unless it has carbon in it.

 

Even if the cartridge has carbon in it, you shouldn't remove cartridge. Just cut a slit in the cartridge and dump the carbon out. The carbon will strip the meds from the water, but you need the floss portion of the cartridge since that's where your bacteria lives.

 

Okay its just a sponge filter so I don't think I have any carbon in it lol but thanks guys!

 

So I'm doing my water change today and adding the prazipro but I'm confused.
Is this supposed to be a bath treatment or a leave in tank for a week treatment?
