In my opinion this is the most peaceful way to euthanize. I had to use it not too terribly long ago and I didn't notice any trauma or panic in the fish.

I can't watch the video so I'm not sure what they suggest and I've never done it myself, but I've seen it done where you add the fish to a cup of tank water, and slowly add in drops until they're gone.

 

This was the video I used to learn how to do it. I found it very helpful.
