How To Seed My Nano Tank W Large Filter Pad From Other Established Tank? Help

    Help plz!!
    Anyway I can cut the pad and sew it up or something so i can seed my new 6.5 gal? Dont wanna wait a few weeks to get new fish for new tank D:

    What I've typically done is only cut a little bit from the established pad and stick it behind the new filter pad. Depends on what type of filter you're dealing with. If HOB then there should be room to stuff a little extra media behind the new cartridge

    yes you can cut a decent sized piece off and stick it in the new filter.
