Good morning,
Here is some information on how to Post A Poll. Please note that you must have 50 posts to the forum in order to create a Poll:
Go to the Polls section of the forum. Select Post New Thread. Create your Title and fill in your text as you normally would. Then scroll down towards the bottom of the page and look for:
Post a Poll,
Number of poll options: (Maximum: 30)
Click on the little box, and make sure it has a check mark there and then hit Submit Thread. This will take you to a new screen with Poll Options:
Poll Question:
Number of poll options Maximum: 30
Poll Options Option 1:
Option 2:
Option 3:
Option 4:
Remember to keep the poll options short and to the point Poll Timeout If you would like this poll to automatically close after a period of time, enter a number of days here.
Set this to 0 if you would like the poll to remain open indefinitely. Close poll days after August 3rd, 2010 Miscellaneous Options Allow multiple choice: Give users the ability to select more than one answer
Make votes public: Displays all users who voted, and what choice they voted for.
Automatically parse links in text
Complete the poll options and hit Submit New Poll.
You're done
If you create a thread and forget to add the Poll, click on Thread Tools in the bar close to the top of the screen. In the drop down box, click on Add A Poll To This Thread and follow the steps listed above.
