How to plant plants

I'm getting two java ferns, one wisteria, and some water salvania in a few days and I'm wondering how to plant/place in aquarium. I know java fern has to be tied to something. Tank size is 10g.

 

You can use rubber band, fishing line, sewing cotton thread or aquarium glue to attach the fern to a piece of wood/river rock or even aquarium decor.

Aquascaping tools like tweezers etc can help in planting delicate plants.

I've tried tying Java Fern to a lava rock with thread but it was challenging and cumbersome. I just purchased a two-pack of Seachem Flourish Glue from Amazon for $7.19 and it's a total game changer! SO easy to use and it sets up in 20 seconds! One piece of advice: Use gloves or a Q-tip for application because it's hard to get off your hands!!

 

Is'nt the main ingredient Cyanoacrylate, aka super glue? I believe some vairants of super glue like Gorilla glue or Duro might be usable as well, and a lot cheaper. Aquarium glue probably gives peace of mind though.

Totally, the times I forget, I usually have the glue hanging around for atleast a day or two on my hands.

The peace of mind is worth it to me...that and I'm a sucker for Seachem products!

 

The water wisteria can be planted directly in the substrate or left floating, but I think it looks better planted.
