I have 2 gsp fish in freshwater right now. What is the best way to acclimate and move them into brackish water? Should I set up a separate tank with brackish water and start at 1.005 salinity?

They are in a 20 gallon high currently and I don’t have a refractometer right now but I just bought a hydrometer yesterday. I will get a refractometer soon.

They will most certainly need a 40 breeder to themselves as they are highly aggressive and very messy eaters. I would add .010 at a time but remember whatever water you take out will have salt in it so remember to replace that is well
